Impundu Arts Center, founded in 2022, is a vibrant celebration and recognition of women in visual arts. The center serves as a dedicated platform for women artists to exhibit their work, emphasizing the rich cultural significance of the name "Impundu" which translates to a noisy celebration in Rwandan culture, symbolizing the joyous acknowledgment of women artists and their contributions.

Since its inception, Impundu Arts Center has actively engaged in various projects with women artists, showcasing their talent and fostering collaboration.

Currently, the center is actively involved in a three-month mentorship program with seven rising artists, culminating in a group exhibition in June 2024. Additionally, 'Murika,' a six-month mentorship project by Impundu Arts Center and Inkstain, focuses on empowering women in digital art, providing essential skills and knowledge to excel in the industry.
